We are Brook, Julie & Dillan Ahrens,
Breeders & Exhibitors of Quality AKC Siberian Huskies & Newfoundlands
located in Central Iowa.
Our life in dogs as we now know it began in 1985. While attending an obedience class, I,
Julie, witnessed "conformation" classes. Thinking to myself "that looks pretty easy" , I
jumped in both feet first.. Well, it wasn't so easy and there is tremendous amounts to learn
but certainly well worth it.. We have been very fortunate over the years, owning and
earning many Championship titles on our dogs including a very special
BEST IN SHOW.... Owner handled.
Here at Rustic Siberians we strive to produce a quality specimen of the breed.
We do not breed for "fashion". Our goals in breeding are very simple.
HEALTH, TEMPERAMENT & STRUCTURE.
We keep a small adult population to ensure proper socialization & care for our dogs.
As well, our commitment to our dogs is lifelong. As all responsible breeders should be, we
stand behind each and every puppy/dog which leaves our home.....for life!!!
